Before deciding upon Polaris Lawyers to represent me in my medical negligence case, I had listened to a lengthy podcast with Nick Mann. The journalist asked the sort of complex questions that every potential client needs answers to. I had already experienced another well known law firm, initially infused with enthusiasm in regards to my case but 12 months on, was dismissed along with my file into the “too hard basket.” As disheartening as this was though, I had the unwavering belief and professional guidance from my outstanding hand Plastic Surgeon, Dr.John Crock. He understood clearly what had gone wrong, leaving me with a permanent injury and along with his medical ethics, expertise and courage, would establish in detailed medical reports, evidence in support of my case.
Having been dismissed by my first law firm, it was a blessing in disguise, as their limited understanding of the content within the medical reports submitted in support of my case, was concerning. In their final communication, the significance of the neurological findings, from a prominent “Neurologist,” who was referred to as “The Urologist,” were not viewed as important enough to continue our collaboration. I am aware that the area of medical litigation is extremely complex and having Nick and his team as my Lawyers, felt they were young enough to have the stamina and fortitude to follow through and with decades of medical cases between them, well experienced to understand the intricacies and expertise to approach my case, for the best possible outcome.

A formidable presence, overcoming all the challenges, to have justice served, in what was a complicated medical case. Their trustworthy and humane approach, their regular communication, even quickly resolving the occasional low point, meant they became my legal family, over the 2.5 years of collaboration.
